Zopo Working on a 32 MP Camera Phone with NVIDIA Tegra 3 Inside

NVIDIA Tegra 3 in Zopo

Hey everyone, now if I tell you a 32 MP camera phone is coming in market how does that sound? I guess confusing. Isn’t it? You are surprised and thinking that I am lying. Right? But let me tell you, Zopo is working on a 5.7 inch phablet that will sport 32 MP rear camera. So far I remember HTC Titan 2 was launched to AT&T USA with 16 MP camera. Later on it was discontinued. Now Zopo phablet with 32 MP camera. The image output will be way big. I can’t tell you exact image size in pixels but you need to corp the image heavily to make it fit in most occasions. The phablet uses NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC that supports 32 MP CMOS in rear and 5 MP CMOS in front in extreme condition. Zopo is utilizing the hardware support at the maximum level.

32 MP Rear Camera + 5 MP Front Camera + Quad Core NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC in New Zopo 5.7 inch Phablet

Currently all smartphone manufacturers are using bigger CMOS sensor in camera. Now 13 MP camera sensor is very common. But 32 MP will certainly surprise you. They haven’t mentioned anything else about the camera but it will be accompanied by a 5 MP front facing shooter. We already have seen 5 MP front camera is Spice Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530. But 32 MP rear is just stunning. I don’t know how necessary this is but the figure is impressive, no doubt about that.
Upcoming HTC One is the only high-end smartphone with less than 8 MP rear camera. HTC went against the trend and have decided to offer UltraPixel 4 MP camera. The technology is completely new but the acceptance is yet to be tested. High mega pixel camera is always safe choice for manufacturers. But this 32 MP camera from Zopo will surprise everyone.
One more thing in this regard, upcoming Zopo 5.7 inch phablet comes with quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 SoC. It’s the same SoC that is already used in some high-end smartphones like HTC One X, LG Optimus 4X HD etc. Performance wise it’s still a good one. But in front of Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or 800 or Exynos 5 series or STE NovaThor L8580 Tegra 3 is bit sluggish but in front of MediaTek MT6589 it’s way fast. I will come into that later on.
By the way, Zopo 5.7 inch phablet is coming exclusively for the Indian market. By May this year it will be made available in Indian market. No guess on pricing. Currently Zopo ZP810 is coming in market at Rs 12999 with lot expectations. Hopefully, it will cover some good ground even if it fails to dislodge Micromax Canvas HD. Two more phablets will follow namely Zopo 910 and Zopo 950+.
