Asus joins the quad core shootout with all new Asus PadFone Infinity! Like other manufacturers Asus have chosen 5 inch display as standard to showcase their all new beast. Optional dock or PadFone Station is also coming in market to transform the phablet it to a full fledged tablet. PadFone station comes with huge 10.1 inch display and bigger battery as well. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600chip the phablet gets 2 GB RAM to exploit which simply increases the degree of multitasking. It’s a new chip from Qualcomm that is used in two recent flagships viz. LG Optimus G Pro, HTC One. Asus PadFone Infinity gets the Android 4.2 JellyBean out of the box.
Asus PadFone Infinity sports 5 inch Super IPS+ LCD Capacitive touch screen with 1920×1080 pixels resolution support at 441 ppi and 10 finger multi-touch. Corning Gorilla Glass coating on display surface protects the display from external scratches. The phablet is coming with optional LTE Radio. LTE variant will be launched in selected markets. In rest of the markets like India HSPA+ variant will be launched.
Asus PadFone Infinity will be available in two flavors, 32/64 GB. Unfortunately, there is no micro SD card slot. But this amount of storage is enough for a heavy user. Isn’t it? It flaunts 13 MP rear camera with full HD 1080p @30 fps and 720p@60 fps video recording support. There is a front facing 2 MP camera as well. Asus PadFone Infinity is packed with Li-Po 2400 mAh battery. The PadFone Station comes with additional 5000 mAh battery.
