Mogu Phones to Release Quad Core Smartphone in less than Rs 10k

After Umi and JiaYu, Mogu Phones is coming in Indian market. It’s yet again a ChShenzhen, China based smartphone manufacturing company. Like JiaYu, Mogu Phones will initially launch three smartphones viz. low-end Android smartphone at around Rs 2500, mid-range smartphone at around Rs 7000-8000 and quad core high-end smartphone at around Rs 10,000. Unlike JiaYu, Mogu Phones have settled the price of their quad core beast at slightly higher price. I was informed by JiaYu that they will be selling G4 at around Rs 9000. But 10k price tag of Mogu quad core does not make much difference as currently only JiaYu G4 is announced with quad core processor in less than 10k price tag. Depending on customs, tax MRP may vary but you can expect the phones at around the same price mentioned above. Micromax Canvas HD is releasing on 14th February. Till the end of this month you only have the Canvas HD if you are interested in purchasing a quad core smartphone. Exact price of Canvas HD is unknown but it does not look like to have a 10k price tag. The release of Mogu Phones will be delayed till the end of this month just because of Chinese New year.

Mogu Phones also have a plan to launch the cheapest phablet of the world at just $48 or approx Rs 2500. Possibly, the Rs 2500 smartphone they have mentioned in their official email is the Mogu Phones S1 phablet with 5 inch display, 1 GHz processor, 2 MP camera, VGA front camera, dual sim, 2000 mAh battery etc. The company is opening their retail store in Mumbai and head office in New Delhi. But till now I do not have any information on service center locations or replacement warranty of their products. Wait for the next update from me. Till then stay tuned with droidify.blogspot.in.

Lava Iris 430 Dual core Android 4.0 smartphone coming soon

Lava Iris 430 is dual core powered smartphone. It has been showing on Lava Official Website. It has 4.3-inch WVGA screen and is powered by 1GHz of dual core processor. The rear camera is of 5MP. This dual SIM handset could probably be priced under Rs. 8,000. There are two cameras, one placed on the rear side with a 5MP resolution and another on the front side of VGA resolution. The Lava Iris 430 is 10.55 mm thick. Battery is of 1500mAh capacity with around 4 hours of talktime and up to 390 hours standby time. As for as the Memory is concerned its 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage with micro SD support. Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, 3.5mm jack, GPS and micro USB port. Iocean X7 Spotted in the Wild

Iocean X7 or OuSheng X7 is spotted in the wild. This time images are pretty sharp and you should get the feeling that it’s a premium smartphone that is expected to be shipped in Indian market at an amazingly low price tag. According to Gizchina the droid could be priced 999 Yuan or $160 USD which means in India you can expect the phablet for as low as Rs 9000. Iocean also mentioned the same in their official mailer last week. Release date is not mentioned, but you can expect it by March. As I already mentioned in my previous post it sports 5 inch Full HD display at 441 ppi, 13 MP camera, quad core MediaTek MT6589 SoC, 2 GB RAM and of course Android 4.1 JellyBean out of the box. Do you need anything else in this budget? In China few lucky users are able to get their hands in to this lovely little piece of smartphone. Iocean is expected to ship review copies soon. But I haven’t received any official news from their end as of now.

Sony Xperia Z Launch in India on 6th March

The Sony flagship smartphone is on the way to India. With a teaser on it’s official Facebook Page, Sony Mobile has confirmed that Xperia Z will be launch on March 6th in Indian markets. There is not much information regarding the price of this smartphone, but rumours suggest that the price will be something similar to recently announced HTC Butterfly, which costs Rs. 45,500.
