LG Optimus G Releasing on 27th February, Ready for Sale at Saholic

LG Optimus G

LG Optimus G, the flagship LG smartphone is now up for sale in Saholic. Previously according to rumors LG is holding an event for the official announcement. It’s not just a rumor. LG is holding the event on that same date. Now it’s quite surprising how Saholic can sell out the handset when the manufacturer is holding a press event. May be the retailer is taking pre-order and they will start shipping the handset once it’s officially launched. Actually they have to make sure the product is dispatched once the announcement is over. Anyway, let’s talk about LG Optimus G. It’s a quad core beast using Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC, 2 GB RAM. From that point Rs 30,990 is really attractive. It houses 4.7 inch True HD IPS LCD display with HD 720p resolution.

LG Optimus G flaunts 13 MP camera is rear and 1.3 MP camera in front. It equips 16 GB internal storage and micro SD card slot expandable up to 64 GB. Features are really impressive. Recently announced HTC Butterfly is using similar hardware but just because of full HD display it claims 15k extra price.
In connectivity segment along with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB there are NFC and TV-out port. Li-Po 2100 mAh battery gives 10 hrs of talk time in 2G network.
LG Optimus G is really thin; it just has 8.4 mm thickness which is really impressive. Only black color model is available for you. The flagship looks really impressive from all angles.

Iocean X7 Spotted in the Wild

Iocean X7  or OuSheng X7 is spotted in the wild. This time images are pretty sharp and you should get the feeling that it’s a premium smartphone that is expected to be shipped in Indian market at an amazingly low price tag. According to  Gizchina  the droid could be priced 999 Yuan or $160 USD which means in India you can expect the phablet for as low as Rs 9000. Iocean also mentioned the same in their official mailer last week. Release date is not mentioned, but you can expect it by March. As I already mentioned in my previous post it sports 5 inch Full HD display at 441 ppi, 13 MP camera, quad core MediaTek MT6589 SoC, 2 GB RAM and of course Android 4.1 JellyBean out of the box. Do you need anything else in this budget? In China few lucky users are able to get their hands in to this lovely little piece of smartphone. Iocean is expected to ship review copies soon. But I haven’t received any official news from their end as of now.
