Intex Aqua Wonder is the newest dual core smartphone launched in Indian market with preloaded Android 4.1 JellyBean. Till date Android 2.3.x Gingerbread dominates the market followed by Android 4.0.x Ice Cream Sandwich. JellyBean is found in just less than 10% of the smartphones launched till date. It clearly means the acceptance of JellyBean is quite high in market and you would love to have this in your handset. Intex does well and launches Aqua Wonder with out of the box JellyBean. It boasts the same specification that Byond B63 showcased earlier. JiaYu G4 is the only smartphone announced for the Indian market so far with 2 GB RAM, 13 MP camera, quad core processor in less than 10k price tag. However, the specs of Intex Aqua Wonder are impressive.



Intex Aqua Wonder is a dual core smartphone; possibly it’s the MediaTek MT6577 chip that has been extensively used in all low-cost smartphones. It equips 512 MB RAM. It flaunts 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with qHD resolution. Possibly, there is no scratch resistant coating on display.

Intex Aqua Wonder inherits most of the specs showcased earlier by Intex Aqua 5.0. It sports 8 MP rear and 1.3 MP front camera unit.  Rear facing camera is a 8 MP camera with auto focus and LED flash and some other camera extras. The handset looks elegant; built quality seems to be good. ROM size is 4 GB which is common. You will get approx 1.93 GB free in internal storage, micro SD card slot is there as well.

Intex Aqua Wonder belts a 1800 mAh battery that promises to deliver up to 3.5 hrs of talk time. Along with accelerometer and proximity sensor Intex have used ambient light sensor. But gyroscope sensor is missing that is available only in Lava Iris 501.

Iocean X7 Spotted in the Wild

Iocean X7  or OuSheng X7 is spotted in the wild. This time images are pretty sharp and you should get the feeling that it’s a premium smartphone that is expected to be shipped in Indian market at an amazingly low price tag. According to  Gizchina  the droid could be priced 999 Yuan or $160 USD which means in India you can expect the phablet for as low as Rs 9000. Iocean also mentioned the same in their official mailer last week. Release date is not mentioned, but you can expect it by March. As I already mentioned in my previous post it sports 5 inch Full HD display at 441 ppi, 13 MP camera, quad core MediaTek MT6589 SoC, 2 GB RAM and of course Android 4.1 JellyBean out of the box. Do you need anything else in this budget? In China few lucky users are able to get their hands in to this lovely little piece of smartphone. Iocean is expected to ship review copies soon. But I haven’t received any official news from their end as of now.

Sony Xperia Z Launch in India on 6th March
