Ubuntu Phone Experience, an app launch to have experience of Ubuntu OS on your Android device. The app creates a sidebar which lets you to glide your finger on the left side which will provide options to toggle between your favorite apps. The OS is likely to arrive on Galaxy Nexus from this February.
When you slide your finger from the left edge of the screen, a side bar will be seen which will contain the shortcuts of various apps. If you slide back to the edge of the screen, you will notice a ‘Cancel’ option. You can swift swipe from the left edge to right edge to go to the home.
When you lift the finger from the area 1 when the sidebar is pulled out, it will be cancelled and sidebar will hide itself. When you lift the finger from area 2, the app near your finger will launch and when you lift your finger from the position 3, you will go to the home screen. You can see the image above.
May be after few time your sidebar will stop appearing, this could be due to the low RAM if so. The sidebar could have maximum of 8 apps at a time including its home button which is always present. Few of the preferences are locked in the free version, so, wait for the paid version on the Google Play and enjoy till with the free version.
