GooPhone One is a HTC One (aka M7) clone from China!







Have you checked the clone of newly announced flagship HTC One? It’s none but GooPhone One that completely looks like the HTC flagship smartphone One. Last time GooPhone copied the design of Apple iPhone 5. Now HTC is copied. I don’t know whether HTC will take GooPhone to court room or not. There is no matching in hardware components as HTC One packs some brand new technologies in this piece. In contrast to that, GooPhone One is rather a low-end smartphone with MediaTek MT6589 quad core chip inside. Possibly, 1 GB RAM is there along with 13 MP camera sensor and of course 4.7 inch display. Instead of HTC Sense 5 UI the GooPhone One uses Lewa OS on top of Android 4.1 JellyBean UI to give it the looks of original HTC One.

 It’s quite evedent that GooPhone One has no such feature to challenge HTC One in any segment. But an attractive price tag and detto looks might cause some damage in HTC One sells. GooPhone may not release the the phone in Indian market but in China it might get sold as an low-cost alternative of HTC One.

Iocean X7 Spotted in the Wild

Iocean X7  or OuSheng X7 is spotted in the wild. This time images are pretty sharp and you should get the feeling that it’s a premium smartphone that is expected to be shipped in Indian market at an amazingly low price tag. According to  Gizchina  the droid could be priced 999 Yuan or $160 USD which means in India you can expect the phablet for as low as Rs 9000. Iocean also mentioned the same in their official mailer last week. Release date is not mentioned, but you can expect it by March. As I already mentioned in my previous post it sports 5 inch Full HD display at 441 ppi, 13 MP camera, quad core MediaTek MT6589 SoC, 2 GB RAM and of course Android 4.1 JellyBean out of the box. Do you need anything else in this budget? In China few lucky users are able to get their hands in to this lovely little piece of smartphone. Iocean is expected to ship review copies soon. But I haven’t received any official news from their end as of now.

Sony Xperia Z Launch in India on 6th March

The Sony flagship smartphone is on the way to India. With a teaser on it’s official Facebook Page, Sony Mobile has confirmed that Xperia Z will be launch on March 6th in Indian markets. There is not much information regarding the price of this smartphone, but rumours suggest that the price will be something similar to recently announced HTC Butterfly, which costs Rs. 45,500.
